Hot Spot Finder
Mothers measuring radioactivity on school roads and playgrounds.
Radioactive substances tend to concentrate in one place depending on the topography and weather, and sometimes accumulates in unexpected places.
Children are highly susceptible to radiation, so Fukushima mothers have united to gather measurements along school roads and playgrounds using the hot spot finder (HSF) to protect their children from unnecessary radiation.
The HSF combines the data collected from a multitude of detectors and then creates maps with the findings.
